Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Morfoot Family Eye Care a proud provider of vision care products and services in Huntley.


Dr. Charlene Morfoot

Dr. Charlene Morfoot grew up in the north suburbs of Chicago. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Morfoot received her Doctorate in Optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry where she received honors in her clinical rotations. Finally, she completed a year of post-graduate training in ocular disease at Omni Eye Services in New Jersey and New York.

While performing thorough comprehensive eye examinations, Dr. Morfoot focuses on the diagnosis and management of eye disease. Her professional interests include fitting specialty contact lenses, dry eye syndrome, glaucoma and surgical co-management. She particularly enjoys teaching her patients about the newest innovations in contact lens technology.

Since she was a young child, Dr. Morfoot has been interested in optometry. She became her eye doctor’s youngest contact lens patient in first grade at age 6. Dr. Morfoot moved to Huntley in 2009 has been providing eyecare in the Northwest suburbs since 2008.

Dr. Morfoot resides in Huntley with her husband, two daughters and two Dobermans. She is a Girl Scout leader for her daughters’ troop. In her free time, she enjoys running, cycling, traveling, crafting and spending quality time with family and friends.


Dr. Joseph Morfoot

Dr. Joseph Morfoot grew up on the Southside of Chicago. He is a proud alumnus of Mount Carmel High School, the University of Illinois, and the Illinois College of Optometry. He became interested in eye care and started working as a teenager at Dr. Donald J. Bush’s office in Chicago.

He is a graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. While completing his Doctorate, Dr. Morfoot graduated with the distinction of achieving Honors in every clinic rotation. He was also a peer tutor and teaching assistant for multiple optometric courses.

Dr. Morfoot elected to complete a year long optometric residency in Ocular Disease with Omni Eye Services in NJ/NY. He trained extensively in the management of advanced eye disease including the perioperative care of glaucoma, cataracts, and retina.

He performs comprehensive eye examinations while focusing on the diagnosis and management of eye disease. Professional interests include contact lens fitting, counseling for LASIK correction, and geriatric eye examinations.

Dr. Morfoot resides in Huntley with his wife, 2 daughters, and 2 Doberman dogs. He enjoys keeping active with sports, jogging, and scuba. Most recently, he has enjoyed the challenges of coaching girls softball for his daughter’s Little League team in Huntley.
